We are delighted to welcome Stacia Conrad to the Community Foundation of Pulaski County staff as our new Coalition Coordinator. As we work through the Pulaski County Early Learning Network to expand and improve early childhood education, Stacia will serve as the bridge connecting families, providers, and resources across the county.

With her bachelor’s degree in elementary education, a K-6 teaching license, and a child development associate credential, Stacia brings both expertise and heart to this important new role. She is more than prepared to assist and advocate for childcare providers and parents alike.

“This role is crucial as many families struggle to find affordable, quality childcare. I am hopeful that together we can help families access the childcare they need to sustain their employment,” said Stacia. “I am most excited to help families find affordable quality childcare.”

In addition to meeting the needs of our community, Stacia hopes to expand the number of hands we have in supporting the families of Pulaski County by looking forward to the next generation.

“One area I would love to see enhanced is the interest of high school students in early childhood education and childcare,” Stacia said. “By nurturing this interest, we can not only empower our youth but also create more childcare opportunities within the community. This could lead to a stronger foundation for the youngest learners and provide valuable career pathways for students.”

When she’s not working to strengthen our community’s childcare resources, Stacia treasures time with her family. She and her husband Brent have shared 25 wonderful years of marriage and are proud parents to Kinzie and Mason. The family’s three dogs complete their home: two Bernedoodles named Sophia and Frank and an adorable Maltipoo named Mac.

We’re excited to welcome Stacia to the Community Foundation! Her passion for education and commitment to our rural community will help guide Pulaski County to better solutions and a brighter future for our families and children.
