Community Foundation Staff
Leeann Wright, Executive Director
Leeann Wright, Executive Director of the Community Foundation of Pulaski County, has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management and fundraising. She knows that communities transform when people work collaboratively. Prior to her role at the Community Foundation, she was a fundraising officer for Indiana University Northwest and, most recently, a major gifts officer at Valparaiso University.
She believes in the power of philanthropy and has served and collaborated on boards and committees in every community in which she has lived. Most recently, she became a Court Appointed Special Advocate to serve as a voice for the children in the community who need it most.
Leeann holds a BA and MFA from the University of Exeter (England), a Masters of Nonprofit Administration from North Park University in Chicago, and an MBA from Valparaiso University and is pursuing a philanthropic leadership doctorate (PhilD) at the IU Lilly School of Philanthropy.
Born and raised in Winamac, she is happily residing once more in Winamac, this time with her husband and daughter and a golden retriever puppy, Greta.
Kim Krause, Office Manager
Kim Krause has been part of the Community Foundation since August of 2008. She started part-time as the Scholarship Coordinator and has been working full-time for several years taking on the role as Office Manager. Kim enjoys accounting and managing the daily operations, coordinating events, and meeting with donors and committee members.
Kim has an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts with an accounting focus and over 16 years of non-profit knowledge and experience.
Kim and her family moved from Illinois to Winamac in July of 1999 and are now empty nesters enjoying their three grandchildren and lake life on Freeman in Monticello.
Marla White, Program Officer
Marla White joined the Community Foundation as Program Officer in December 2025. A third-generation graduate of Purdue University, Marla achieved degrees from Purdue in animal sciences and veterinary technology and worked in the veterinary field for several years before transitioning into a role as Nutrition Advisor for Purdue Extension. In her role with Purdue Extension, Marla helped organize nutrition and wellness programs in service to communities throughout the area, including Pulaski County.
Marla, who has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in rural communities, works to support organizations and non-profit donors, guide grant writing initiatives, build and strengthen relationships with our community, and help to support the Community Foundation’s overall mission to build resources, engage people, increase involvement, and inspire generosity to enrich and improve lives in Pulaski County.
Marla—who grew up in Howard County, just outside Kokomo—lives on a family farm, growing corn and soybeans, with her husband Seth and their four children.
